Malavida has decided to realease collections by country. Most of the re-released films are from the 1960s, with cinema mainly from Eastern countries (less well known to the general public) such as Czech, Polish and Nordic cinema. Malavida favorite cinematographers? Anne-Laure Brénéol, in an amused tone: "We love the brats!" The company will release this year the second part of the Alices Comedies, a film appearing among the very first Walt Disney, and Danse du diable by Philippe Caubère in November.

For its part, ESC Editions, the company launched in 2014, contributes to the reissue of mythical Hollywood movies with the Hollywood Legends collection, but is also interested in Italian comedies. Book publishing is a novelty in the company's business. Other novelty: 2017 saw the creation of ESC Films with the release of their first animated film, Dans une recoin du monde.

Gaumont announced that it will be releasing a set of different versions of the film J'accuse after Blu-Ray’s restoration, which will be added to a collection of 350 titles. Next year, a full series of Jean Vigo’s films will also be featured in the same format.

At Arte Editions, Costa Gavras will prevail in DVD/Blu-ray with the second part of a box already published on him.

Fans of westerns can be reassured: with more than 230 westerns reissued, Sidonis continues its momentum, notably with the edition of westerns starring Elvis Presley.

In addition, Carlotta announces the release of the ultra collector box of Federal Police Los Angeles in December, and another, at the end of the year, on Alfred Hitchcock.

Always looking for the best quality of viewing, Pathé Films counts more than one hundred restorations of films in progress, in 2k and 4k. The publisher is about to release three films with Coluche in DVD/Blu-Ray, a documentary on the latter with testimonials from friends, a bonus and photographs of the exhibition on Coluche. To this is added a box containing the restored films of Claude Berri.

Mourir d'aimer will be released by LCJ Editions on DVD and the latter is preparing for the edition of the Old Rifle, for the first time in 4k ultra HD.

Finally, Tamasa Distribution explains at the end of the conference its choice of targeting cinephile: "we chose to focus on European cinema because there are many films that remain to be discovered."
