Live : Round tables about the European Film Forum and the AVSM Directive

This Thursday, two round tables are broadcast live on Youtube. 


From 2pm to 4pm, Mariya Gabriel, Commisioner Digital Economy and Society 
and Thierry Frémaux, General Manager of the Institut Lumière and Director of the festival Lumière will talk about the opening of the European Film Forum. This tool will then be discussed by Sandra den Hamer, General Director, Eye Film Institute Netherlands (Netherlands), Emilie Boucheteil, Director of the cinema department of the Institut français, CinEd program (France), Claus Noer Hjorth, Head of Children & Youth Department, Danish Film Institute (Denmark), Gian Luca Farinelli, Manager of the Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna (Italy), Marc Sundermann, Head of the Brussels Liaison Office, SVP Government Relations, Bertelsmann SE & Co KGAA (Germany) and Boglárka Nagy, General Delegate of the Confédération internationale des cinémas d’art et essai – CICAE (Allemagne). 


Then from 4.30 pm to 5 pm, Eric Peters, Member of Cabinet and Senior adviser of Mariya Gabriel Mrs. Commissioner, Philippe Bailly, Analyst, NPA Conseil, Guillaume Prieur, Director of International and European Affairs, SACD and Aurore Bergé, Yvelines Member of Parliament, Spokesperson for LaREM, Chairperson of the Study Group on Cinema and Audiovisual Production will discuss how to implement the European AVMSD Directive which aims to guarantee a minimum of 30% of European-origin programming in their catalogs.
