One day to go before the launching of the MIFC!

On Tuesday will start the 5th edition of the International Classic Film Market with its share of novelties. 

Almost 350 accredited and 20 countries represented, this is the new record the 5th edition of the MIFC!  

This year, five countries - Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Taiwan and Turkey - will join for the first time the, international, as its name underlined it from now on, market of the Festival Lumière. It will welcome 162 new comers for a 20% general rise of the registered. Among others, the participants will be split as 33% of professionals of distribution and edition, 17% of laboratories, 13% of exhibitors and 13% of institutionnals. 

During those, from now on, four days, they will be able to discover the many novelties of this anniversary edition fortified by 14 conferences. In this way, classic video editors will be more highlighted with a rendez-vous and a meeting dedicated to them. The new european stakes, the changing industry latest challenges and the diversity of broadcasting channels will be at the heart of the debates. 

And for the first time, a great witness, Jérôme Soulet (Gaumont), in addition to his educated statement about the classic cinema market, will bring some precise and long-awaited datas on the subject. Finally, the documentary on cinema will have leading place with, for example, the announcement of the birth of Doc Ciné, a new platform launched by the Institut Lumière. 

Three devoted venues will host those meetings and will be the stage of numerous get together.
