To introduce and conclude the 12th edition of the MIFC, in the framework of exclusive interviews two guests will share their career, their vision and their company’s catalogue management and distribution strategies.
In business for more than 112 years, the Universal studio has a rich catalogue of iconic titles. Keen to preserve this rich heritage, Universal launched its centenary restoration project in 2012. Cassandra Moore, who heads up the teams responsible for restoring these films, will be taking us through the work of NBCUniversal in an exclusive interview during MIFC.

Cassandra Moore is the Vice President of Mastering and Archive at NBCUniversal and has worked at NBCUniversal since 2004. She is a highly skilled professional in 4K DolbyVision & HDR Mastering, Feature Film Restoration, Production Management, and Process Improvement. Having worked for 30 years with top talent in the entertainment industry, she knows that ensuring films premiere in the best possible format with the highest quality images and sound is important to filmmakers, the industry, and the legacy of Universal Pictures.
The Restoration initiative was started with the Universal Pictures centennial celebration in 2012 and to date the Universal Restoration team has restored over 150 features, ensuring that they can be seen and heard in the best possible formats for future generations.
Restoring and Preserving NBCUniversal’s 112-year-old library is the great honor and passion of Cassandra’s career.
Anna Marsh will talk about the strategy pursued by STUDIOCANAL and more specifically about the largest catalogue in Europe that it holds, its enhancement and the restoration of its heritage films. For several years, STUDIOCANAL has been developing a strategy of restoring and digitising the greatest classics of French and international cinema, making it a major/central player in heritage cinema, which it helps to take around the world and to (re)discover.

Anna Marsh has nearly 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. After graduating from the University of Otago in New Zealand and then HEC, she began her career in 2002 in the International Sales department of Tele Images Productions (Marathon group), before becoming International Sales Manager at TF1 International.
Anna joined STUDIOCANAL in 2008 as VP International Sales. In 2013, she was appointed Head of International Distribution Strategy, and shortly after Head of International Sales. In 2017, she was appointed EVP, International Distribution at STUDIOCANAL and in March 2019, she was appointed Managing Director of STUDIOCANAL UK.
In December 2019, Anna was appointed CEO of STUDIOCANAL.
In February 2022, she was appointed member of the CANAL+ Group Management Board.
In October 2022, she was appointed Deputy CEO of CANAL+ Group.
