This film recounts the adventures of a group of young people in the 1970s who set out in an old military truck in search of a new way of life based on freedom for all. Throughout the film, Jupiter and his band of friends, with their costumes and attitudes, bring a refreshing twist to the image of mythological heroes, yet their concerns are timeless in their quest for happiness and the comical, magical, and mysterious trials they face... The situations are incredible and the behavior extravagant, but always driven by a renewed fervor and a desire for justice and freedom, emblematic of the 1970s, marked by a deep desire for liberation and experimentation with new ways of loving and living... All the imagination that emerged from May 1968, the hippie movement, and pop music feeds into the world of JUPITER, which, from the outset, wanted to break with the traditional codes of filmmaking and storytelling.
