Béatrice Boursier

Béatrice Boursier is Managing Director, SCARE, the Syndicat des cinémas d'Art et d'Essai.

She worked as a free-lance, in promotion, communication and public relations for film releases and national events in movie theaters such as la Fête du cinéma, Le Printemps du cinéma, or City of Paris cinema events.

Since 2014, as General Delegate of the French Arthouse Cinemas union, she promotes Arthouse movie theaters to national and local public authorities and other branches of the industry.
She developed tools to support independent cinemas in the digital and data transition, and professional training.

She joined the Collectif 50/50 board (an association for equality and diversity in cinema) in 2018 and was General Secretary until 2022. She worked, among other topics, on distribution and exhibition issues and on film education.
