Jean-François Cornu is a translator from English to French, specializing in subtitling and screenplay translation, as well as translating works on cinema and art. A member of the Association des Traducteurs Adaptateurs de l’Audiovisuel (ATAA) and the Association des Traducteurs Littéraires de France (ATLF), he is also co-founder of the collective “En chair et en os, pour une traduction humaine” (In the flesh, for human translation), and author of Le sous-titrage et le doublage : histoire et esthétique (Subtitling and dubbing: history and aesthetics) (2014).
