Re Birth

Re>Birth Programme

This program aims to connect rights holders or representatives of films seeking new commercial outlets with professionals looking for new opportunities: buyers, distributors, programmers, sellers, laboratories, publishers, as well as any potential partners who can contribute to the financing of a restoration and/or new exploitation of the works.

Each selected film is presented in one of two categories:
Re>Birth #1 - films with a restoration project,
Re>Birth #2 - recently restored films, labeled Lumière Classics

For the 2025 edition, the selected films will be presented on Thursday, October 16, during:

  • Pitches session from 9.45 to 11.45 am., Conference Room, MIFC Village: presentation of the films selected for the Re>Birth Program #1 and #2, 10-minute pitches per project, illustrated with video clips
  • One-to-One meetings from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., at the MIFC Village: Make an appointment with representatives of the films presented here
