André Labbouz is the Technical Director, Gaumont.
Operating cinemas in the southwest (Gaillac, Caussade and Graulhet) and also programming 3 cinemas in the Lot, André Labbouz joined the Gaumont group's cinema management team in 1986, with responsibility for Gaumont Ouest Boulogne Billancourt, Gaumont les Halles and Gaumont Parnasse.
In 1987, he took over responsibility for the animation of Gaumont Cinemas. He launched a program aimed at all children from primary school to high school: “Le cinéma dans ton cartable, dans ton sac à dos et ta petite mallette” (Cinema in your schoolbag, your backpack and your little briefcase).
He also created “Nuits du cinéma” (cinema nights) in a large part of the Gaumont park, and set up the “Voir ou revoir 1 fois par semaine” (see or see again 1 time a week) Arthouse cycles, which enabled them to obtain the A&E label for over 200 cinemas throughout France.
Since 1990, André has been Gaumont's Technical and Postproduction Director.
