Xavier Lemarchand

Xavier Lemarchand is IA Coordination and Integration, INA. 

An engineer with a doctorate from Compiègne University of Technology, Xavier Lemarchand joined INA in 1999, just as it was embarking on its digital transformation. He initially contributed to the development of analysis and annotation tools for the academic use of audiovisual archives. He took part in the creation of the Studio Hypermédia, where he designed and developed the first interactive audiovisual productions. He went on to manage this multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to producing a wide range of editorial video sites. Appointed Head of Digital Publishing, he implements innovative strategies to promote the INA's archives to the general public on the ina.fr website, video platforms and social networks. In recent years, he has been in charge of designing and redesigning INA's digital editorial offerings, such as ina.fr, La Revue des médias, the SVOD offering madelen and the educational website Lumni Enseignement. 

Director of AI coordination & integration since February 2024, he leads the multidisciplinary projects relating to the challenges and deployment of AI uses for the INA through cross-functional governance involving all of the Institute's departments.
