GUEST COUNTRY: PORTUGAL

Portugal will be the country of honor at this year’s edition of the MIFC. A rich a highly varied heritage cinematography, where documentary, silent, political, social films and popular genres can flourish. This spotlight will give us the opportunity to meet professionals and share experiences. To this end, representatives from the Portuguese Cinematheque, distributor Midas, the Filmin platform and public television RTP Memória will take part in round tables and be present at the market. Two newly restored heritage films will be screened at the evening for MIFC Professionals.
