Luis Tejera Fernández
Luis Tejera Fernández is a producer at Altahabana Films.
Luis Tejera Fernández was born in La Habana in 1967. He has a degree in Mathematics and more than 20 years’ experience in film post-production. He started working at Madrid Film Lab, belonging to the TDF Video Service group (France Telecom). In 2004 he joined Technicolor Spain (Thomson Group) as IT-IS Manager and Data Manager.
In 2013 he founded Aracne Digital Cinema, devoted to digital post-production and film restoration, where he works as Managing Director. Aracne DC has collaborated in more than 500 titles with companies such as Warner Bros., Vertigo Films, Wanda Visión, Karma Films, Telson, DAZN, Dreams Factory European, Fremantle, among others.
In 2021 he founded the film production company Altahabana Films, with which he has achieved world premieres at festivals such as Venice (Landrián 2023) and San Sebastián (No somos nada, 2021). As a producer, he has sponsored the Havana International Film Festival, Malaga Film Festival, Documentamadrid, Miami Film Festival, Madrid Film Festival and Tangier International Film Festival.
