Change for a new decade!
For its 11th edition, the MIFC is renewing its formats and content.
Why? To position itself as closely as possible to the needs of industry professionals, to provide ever more adapted and up-to-date services, and to offer a clearer picture of the market and easier tools for new entrants to the sector. Finally, because the heritage film industry is constantly evolving, and the mission of the Marché International du Film Classique is to keep pace with these changes.

Special guests 2023: Hella Wenders and Claire Brunel
Echoing the Prix Lumière, the co-directors are the Market's special guests. They will deliver a keynote exploring the Wim Wenders Foundation.
Focus Sweden: A cult auteur in the world cinema landscape, a unique territorial situation, dynamic players in genre cinema - these are just some of the specific features of the Swedish classic film market that will be discussed.
Documentary Focus: Rarely discussed at the MIFC, heritage documentaries will be the common thread running through several editorial events.
Artificial intelligence: Does this subject, which questions everything society produces, also concern the heritage film industry?
Les Entretiens: Every day, a conversation with a special guest. A privileged moment with an industry personality.
A special program for exhibitors: A selection of meetings on cinema exhibition issues, special screenings at Le Karbone, screenings included in the festival program, social events... in collaboration with ADRC and ADCAE.
Eco-responsibility: The MIFC is committed to eco-responsible certification and is mobilizing its accredited members to reduce its environmental impact.

Goal:
Bring together rights holders or representatives of classic films seeking new commercial outlets with professionals looking for new opportunities.
Eligible projects:
- Restored films awarded "Lumière Classics label" by the Lumière festival 2023.
- Films with a restoration project proposed by MIFC accreditees
Goal:
To enable accredited members of the market to promote their company, projects, services or programs. Showcase slots are available for booking, either individually or jointly.
