Loïc Adrien is an editor and works for various sectors - television, NGOs, museums, institutions, web.

Photo-Loic-AdrienAlongside these activities, in 2016 he created a Youtube channel, VERSUS, dedicated to cinema, now boasting over 25,000 subscribers.
Each episode parallels two films, to reflect on the history of Cinema. What brings Buster Keaton and Mad Max Fury Road together? What links Bond Joon-Ho and Claude Chabrol? What influence does Nanouk the Eskimo have on Avatar? These are just some of the questions asked on the channel. Whether it's a demanding auteur film or a mainstream blockbuster, the bridges between films are numerous and sometimes unexpected, whatever their era or nationality.
VERSUS is an all-image format. The aim is to highlight the films themselves, so that viewers can immerse themselves in them completely. And rather than recounting the behind-the-scenes story of a shoot, rather than passing judgment on the films, VERSUS seeks to decipher the way they are constructed, what a frame tells or what a cut provokes. Not far from a mash-up, editing is at the heart of the project, to make the films talk to each other, and bring these correspondences to life in the eye and mind of the viewer. Twice a recipient of the CNC Talent fund, VERSUS' objective is quite simple: to highlight the specificities of cinematic language.
