Her American experience boosted her knowledge of public domain and fair use rules, and she has been working with American attorneys on the best ways to apply fair use practices in documentaries.
She has received the following awards as a film researcher: Emmy (1995), Focal (2004), Gémeaux (2014), Barbara Sears (Canadian Screen, 2014).
She is presently working on several documentary projects.
