Rickard Gramfors

Rickard Gramfors runs the global streaming platform Cultpix.com since two and half years, specializing in vintage exploitation movies. Currently streams more Swedish films than any other platform.

40 years in the cinema industry. 16 years at the Swedish Film Institute; at the film archive, as curator at the Cinematheque, Head of the International Department, editor-in-chief of film magazine Chaplin, and 20 years as event cinema manager at Folkets Hus och Parker (distributing live events to cinemas, but also film classics).

Was editor-in-chief of Total Film magazine, and CEO of the very first Swedish video-on-demand company V2H.

Has been running the Swedish DVD label Klubb Super 8 on the side for 25 years, specializing in Swedish vintage films. 70 titles released so far.

International sales agent for 58 Swedish titles owned exclusively by Klubb Super 8, as well as the Nordisk Tonefilm library, with 55 films.

Klubb Super 8 has a collection of 350 feature films on 35mm and 16mm. Also 5,000 posters, and original screenplays, props, costumes and stills from Inge Ivarson (producer), Torgny Wickman (director), Joseph W Sarno (director), Calvin Floyd (director) and Sture Sjöstedt (producer).

Composed the score and produced the Swedish horror film Svart cirkel/Black Circle (2019), directed by Adrián García Bogliano.

Has been travelling with Swedish exploitation movie legend Christina Lindberg to more than 30 film events all over the world, since 2006.

Author of the poster book Do You Believe in Swedish Sin? (2021), with vintage Swedish exploitation movie posters. Will release a new poster book, Filmer som går! Filmer som slår! (Hard Hitting Films) early 2024, with posters for genre films distributed by Swedish independent distributors in the 60’s and 70’s.
