Trained as a sound engineer, Benjamin first restored the sound of INA's TV programs, from 2001 to 2014, before moving into project management. He then co-directed the digitization of Cuban newsreels from the Noticiero Latinoamericano ICAIC, listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World register. Between 2014 and 2022, as part of INA's Expertise Conseil department, he led several expert missions in France and abroad, and advised television groups, companies and institutions in the field of audiovisual archives (RAI, RTV, Dassault Aviation, RATP, CNES, ECPAD, UNESCO, etc.).

An occasional trainer at INA, he is responsible for the Conservation, Preservation and Restoration of Audiovisual and Cinematographic Media teaching unit of the INASUP Master's degree in Audiovisual Heritage Management. He has also designed a series of training courses dedicated to restoration (CQP Restaurateur numérique, Restaurer des images, etc.).

Returning to the technical department in 2022, he is now in charge of the department responsible for monitoring restoration projects.
