Isabelle Barrière

Restoration Colorist & Film Scanner Operator – Project Manager at Cité de Mémoire

Isabelle Barrière is a Paris-based Colorist who studied Cinema and Art History at Sorbonne, before working worldwide, over 17 years, as a freelance Video Producer for audiovisual production and post-production companies.

In 2011, she decided to focus on color grading and founded IPinxit, her own studio. Since then, she’s worked as a digital colorist and finishing artist on documentaries, feature and short movies, music videos and commercials. In parallel, she’s been teaching color grading in vocational schools and institutions.

Since 2020, she’s also involved in Film Restoration with Cité de Mémoire, a French Restoration Lab, where she’s extended her skills to film scanning and digital restoration, enabling her to control the integrity of the entire image chain.

She’s a member of CST (The French Higher Technical Commission for Sound and Images) and Shade (The French Association of Colorists).
